What I think of it
Breitling GMT Chrono-Matic reference 2115 from the ’70s.
Breitling has been known for its aviation watches for decades; this Breitling GMT reference 2115 is an exceptional example, with its Breitling caliber 11 (Buren) and its crown on the wrong side. This Breitling GMT was designed for civil aviation pilots in the ’70s; it flew many intercontinental flights over several years.
This 1977 reference measures 47.5 mm in diameter excluding the crown; also nicknamed “Pizza” by some collectors, it has the GMT complication to track a second time zone. It will be delivered with a generic steel bracelet.
I love this Breitling GMT reference 2115, a rare GMT model with its crown at the 9:00 position and a generous size of 37.5 mm: the perfect collectible watch!
