The versatile watch from Breitling, the Chronomat has held an important place in the history of Breitling for many years.
The top-of-the-range chronograph in this series, with a silver-toned stainless steel case and bracelet, and with links and a unidirectional rotating bezel in 18k red gold.
Blue dial with luminescent red gold hands and hour markers. Counters for minutes, 100th of a second and tachymeter scale.
Date display at 6 o’clock. Chronograph - subdials showing: 12 hours, 30 minutes, 60 seconds.
Automatic movement, Caliber 01 (Manufacture Breitling), with 47 jewels and 346 components, beating at 28800 vph. Power reserve of about 70 hours.
Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Screw-down crown. Exhibition caseback. Case thickness: 15.1 mm. Bracelet width: 22 mm. Push-button deployant clasp. Water-resistant to 200 meters/660 feet.
I love the character of this top-of-the-range Breitling from the Chronomat series in its red gold 18k/steel version, its caliber B01 (in-house) and its blue dial.
