What I think of it
OMEGA Speedmaster Professional pre-Moon chronograph from the ’60s - reference 145012.
The Speedmaster is probably the most emblematic model of the famous Swiss watch house OMEGA. The Speedmaster is notably known for having equipped the APOLLO missions led by NASA.
This watch, Ref. 145012-68 “Ed White”, is without the slightest doubt a grail among Speedmasters!
Pre-Moon Speedmasters are powered by a manual-winding mechanical movement – this famous Caliber 321 is engraved 245xxxxx, and the caseback is marked 68 ST. Stainless steel case, 42 mm, signed Plexi crystal - generic leather strap.
I love the Speedmaster series, including the one worn by astronaut Ed White, the first American in space with a so-called “Pre Moon” Speedmaster
