Rolex 3484 chronograph in 18k yellow gold - 1949.
Reference 3484 is one of the first Rolex chronographs from the era before the Daytona collection. In the ’40s, Rolex sought to assert its expertise not only in robust watches (Oyster, Precision), but also in high-precision chronographs.

I love the Valjoux 23 movement, one of the most reliable of its time, widely used by several great manufactures. Rolex reworked it and cased it in an elegant 18k gold case, giving birth to this rare and refined chronograph.
