IWC Calatrava Pre-Ingenieur Pellaton 8521 automatic movement
A superb large-size (36 mm) IWC automatic watch, the forerunner of the legendary Ingenieur model. It is fitted with the prestigious caliber 8521 Pellaton, one of the brand’s most beautiful and rarest movements of that era.
Its silver Pie Pan dial shows a lovely patina, with a date window at 3 o’clock displaying dates alternating in red and black — an extremely rare detail!
The claw lugs and gilt dauphine hands enhance its elegant vintage look.
A true IWC signature, the Pellaton cam winding system gives this movement all its originality and prestige. A collector’s piece for lovers of IWC and historic watches. A must-have!!
