GOOD TO KNOW
The house was founded in 1833 by Antoine LeCoultre. The Jaeger-LeCoultre name only appeared in 1937. JLC is one of the few manufacturers to have designed its own movements from scratch, without using third-party ébauches. Incredible iconic watches were later made (Reverso, Memovox, Atmos...)
This unisex Jaeger Lecoultre, 34.5 mm excluding the crown, has the distinctive “alarm” complication; its gold-plated case, known as “gold filled 10k” for the American market, houses the manual-winding caliber 911 (date).
This “Memodate” model has its leather strap and Jaeger Lecoultre buckle (generic crown). Rare dial signed HPG “Haute Précision Garantie”.
Simple, elegant and refined, with its alarm function, this Jaeger Lecoultre watch is a small piece of history; I love this series named “Memodate” with its alarm and date complications.
