Manual-winding Jaeger Lecoultre Memovox - ’50s
GOOD TO KNOW
Founded in 1833 by Antoine Lecoultre. The Jaeger-LeCoultre name only appeared in 1937. JLC is one of the few manufacturers to have designed its own movements from scratch, without using third-party ébauches. Later on, incredible iconic watches were made (Reverso, Memovox, Atmos...)
This 34.5 mm (excluding crown) unisex Jaeger Lecoultre has the distinctive feature of an “alarm” complication; its gold-plated case, known as “gold filled 10k” for the American market, houses the manual-winding caliber K489.
This Memovox comes on its leather strap with its Jaeger Lecoultre buckle.
Simple, elegant and refined with its alarm function, this Jaeger Lecoultre watch is a small piece of history; I love this model with its alarm complication.
