Longines Sommatore centrale reference 5161 - Full Longines service and Longines certificate of authenticity from 2025.
An extremely rare watch with its 13ZN-12 flyback caliber; production of this marvelous caliber was sadly discontinued in 1947.
Housed in a magnificent 39.5 mm case, this rare Longines watch is fitted with the legendary 13ZN-12 movement with a central minute counter for the chronograph.
This example comes with an archive extract confirming that the watch was invoiced in 1946 to the Weil company, then the agent in Chile.
Between 1945 and 1947, all 13ZN movements were fitted in steel, yellow gold and rose gold cases. I estimate that only 250 steel pieces were made for this reference.
This rare model comes from an era when Longines made its mark with this exceptional chronograph. If you are looking for a rare Longines watch, this is the one!
