Baume & Mercier 18k gold chronograph - Valjoux 69 caliber - ’40s. Here is a magnificent “Baby chronograph” combining both refinement and complexity.
As pictured, this rare, small sports watch from the ’40s is one of the smallest chronographs, never since equaled. These exceptional chronographs, which are rare on the market, were made by only a few prestigious brands such as Heuer, Universal Genève, Rolex...
The 27 x 27 mm yellow gold case houses the smallest of all chronograph calibers, the Valjoux 69, with column-wheel engagement.
I love this model, which will round out your collection of unique and surprising vintage chronographs.
