What I think of it
LIP Genève chronograph from the ’60s - Caliber Venus 188.
The rare watches signed LIP Genève represent the flagship and the excellence of LIP, and this chronograph is the perfect example.
The various collaborations between LIP and Breitling led to excellent chronographs such as this one, or the very similar Breitling Top-Time of the same period.
This model dates from the ’60s; it is a two-register LIP chronograph. The two sub-dials sit at 3 and 9 o’clock.
The 36.00 mm gold-plated and steel case (excluding crown) houses caliber RCH830 (Venus 188).
This sixty-year-old example, in good condition, is especially loved by collectors!
