Le style seventies à la française
LIP Genève chronograph from the ’60s – Venus 188 caliber.
The rare watches signed LIP Genève represent the flagship and the excellence of LIP, and this chronograph is the perfect example.
The various collaborations between LIP and Breitling led to the creation of excellent chronographs such as this one, or the very similar Breitling Top-Time from the same era.
The model offered dates from the ’60s; it is a two-register LIP chronograph. The two subdials are placed at 3 and 9 o’clock. The original dial is gray in the center with a tachymeter scale.
The cushion-shaped case in gold plate and steel, 36.3 mm excluding the crown, houses the RCH830 caliber (Vénus 188). Generic black leather Rally strap.
This sixty-year-old example, in good condition, is especially loved by collectors!
