Do you want to sell a watch, or simply find out what it is worth? Wherever you live, I reply to you personally, starting from an appraisal based on photos.

How does selling a watch to me work?

Every purchase starts with your message. I ask you for a few photographs and for the information you have. I then study the file discreetly and reply to you directly, with no intermediary. This first exchange lets me understand the piece.

I tell you what happens next once I have appraised it. If my offer suits you, everything is done at a distance, and you do not need to travel: the watch reaches me with a secure carrier, in a sealed package.

I have worked in this trade for fifteen years, eight of them in Geneva. Chronostyle has existed in Orléans since 2022. That experience lets me study every file calmly and discreetly.

    Which watches do I buy?

I buy modern and vintage watches, including luxury watches signed Rolex, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Omega or Breitling. An engraved watch interests me too – when a piece is signed, I investigate to find out who wore it. These houses cover a wide range of periods and styles.

You do not need a complete file before contacting me. I tell you what may be useful after a first exchange.

    Selling a watch you inherited

An estate sometimes brings watches that you do not wish to keep. I help you sell them discreetly, with no intermediary. An inheritance is no obstacle, as long as you can show me the piece and whatever came with it.

Even when the papers are missing, I can appraise the watch. What matters is to gather what you know of its history and its servicing record. The circumstances of the estate remain confidential.

Appraisal from photos, wherever you live

An appraisal from photos gives a first indication. The useful views are:

    • dial
    • caseback
    • bracelet
    • papers

Box and papers are not required, but they provide useful context. If you are in or near Orléans, you can also come to my showroom at 29 rue de la Cigogne, by appointment; it holds no stock.

You can reach me at +33 6 49 22 89 52 to talk about your watch. Get in touch as soon as you are unsure about the value of a piece.
