Should you find yourself in France, the showroom is at 29 rue de la Cigogne, 45100 Orléans, France, by appointment. It holds no stock; a watch from the site can be shown on request.
How shipping to Miami works
Shipping to the United States costs €150 and takes about 3 to 6 business days from dispatch. The watch travels fully insured, in discreet packaging, and is handed over against signature.
Duties, import VAT or local taxes, and the carrier’s clearance fees are not included in the watch price or in the shipping cost. They are payable by you directly to DHL on delivery. They depend on the country, the value, and the origin of the watch. I always declare the watch at its real value and with its true origin.
What I check before selling
Every watch passes through my hands before it is listed. I open it, inspect it, and have it serviced. If it does not convince me, it is not sold. Each watch comes with a one-year warranty.
What to look for in a pre-owned or vintage watch
A pre-owned or vintage watch should be judged on condition, originality, service history, and the presence of box and papers. Look at the case first: sharp edges and even brushing are a good sign, while rounded lugs may indicate over-polishing. Then ask about the movement and the service history.
Box and papers add context, but they are not a substitute for condition. For any watch on the site, you can ask me what was done before listing.
Cartier and Rolex
I buy and sell pre-owned and vintage watches from Rolex, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer and Universal Genève. For a used Rolex in Miami, start with the dial, the bracelet, and the movement; a vintage piece should not be judged by cosmetics alone. Ask whether the dial and hands are original and whether the movement has been serviced.
On a Cartier, look at the case shape, hallmarks, and dial signature, and ask whether the bracelet is original. A soft case can mean over-polishing, and a replacement bracelet changes the way the watch wears. These are the same points I examine before I list a watch.
Thinking of selling your own watch?
I appraise watches from photos, from Miami or anywhere else. If we agree, the watch travels to me with a secure carrier, in a sealed package. Here is how it works.
