My view
The charm of a classic, the precision of a modern watch
The legacy of the 1957 diver, powered by an antimagnetic in-house caliber: an exceptional Seamaster, serviced by Omega.
Launched in 2014, this Seamaster 300 pays tribute to the first Seamaster 300 of 1957, one of the great dive watches in history. Its 41 mm steel case carries over the codes of the original: graduated rotating bezel, “broad arrow” hands, and numerals and hour markers in vintage-toned luminescent material on a black dial. Inside beats the in-house Master Co-Axial 8400 caliber, resistant to magnetic fields of more than 15,000 gauss, visible through the sapphire caseback.
This 2016 example received a full service at Omega in June 2026: it is ready to head back to sea, or to town.
