Elegance in its purest form
A rare Vacheron Constantin dress watch in 18k white gold, powered by the legendary caliber 1003, one of the thinnest manual-winding movements ever made. White gold, rarer than yellow gold on models from this period, gives it a remarkable understatement and modernity.
Its 22.75 x 32 mm case houses an original, never-restored dial with very fine Roman numerals. It shows an even cream patina as well as small losses of lacquer along the edge, visible in the photos, authentic witnesses to its history.
The caliber 1003
Introduced in 1955 for the watch house’s bicentenary, the caliber 1003 measures just 1.64 mm thick. It is renowned as much for its record thinness as for its exceptional reliability. Mechanical manual-winding movement, high-end finishing, Geneva Seal. This caliber is still produced today, proof of its remarkable design.
