Pre-owned watches in Denver

Buying a pre-owned or vintage watch from Denver does not require a local boutique. I work directly with you from Orléans, France, and every purchase is handled personally from first question to delivery. The process is simple, but it should also be transparent.

How buying used watches in Denver works

Chronostyle has existed since 2022, and I have spent fifteen years in watches, eight of them in Geneva. I own my stock: no marketplace, no intermediary.

The online shop shows each watch with detailed characteristics and photos; a selection of current arrivals is available there. Before ordering, you can write to me with any question or ask for more photos.

Once payment is confirmed, I prepare the shipment and send it from Orléans.

If you travel to France, the showroom at 29 rue de la Cigogne, 45100 Orléans, France is available by appointment. It holds no stock, but a watch from the site can be shown on request.

What I check before a watch is listed

Every watch passes through my hands before it is listed. I open it, inspect it, and have it serviced. If it does not convince me, it is not sold.

Each watch comes with a one-year warranty.

Shipping a watch to Denver

Shipping to the United States costs €150 and takes about 3 to 6 business days from dispatch. The package travels by DHL Express, insured for the full value of the watch, in discreet packaging, and handed over against signature.

Customs duties, import VAT or local taxes, and the carrier's clearance fees are payable by the buyer directly to DHL on delivery. They are not included in the price of the watch or in the shipping cost, and depend on the country, the value, and the origin of the watch. I always declare the watch at its real value and with its true origin.

What to look for in a pre-owned or vintage watch

I buy and sell pre-owned and vintage watches from Rolex, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer and Universal Genève. When you compare pre-owned watches Denver and used watches Denver CO, look at condition, originality, service history, and box and papers together.

Condition should be read honestly: a watch with light wear can be more attractive than one that has been over-polished. Originality of the dial, hands, bezel, and movement matters, and a documented service history often carries more weight than accessories.

Ask for movement and case-back photos, and pay attention to the sharpness of the lugs and the stretch in a metal bracelet. These details reveal more than a single angle of the dial.

Breitling and TAG Heuer tool watches

Breitling and TAG Heuer remain among the most practical tool watches on the pre-owned market. Their cases, bezels, and bracelets are meant to be worn, but that means wear has to be read carefully.

For a Breitling chronograph, I look at the bezel action, the pushers, the case profile, and the originality of the dial and hands. For a TAG Heuer, the bracelet, clasp, crown guards, and the condition of the luminous material often tell you how the watch was used.

On a tool watch, the bezel should turn with clear resistance, and the pushers should feel firm rather than soft. Service history matters here. A well-maintained movement in a tool watch can outweigh the absence of box and papers, but I still note every detail before a watch is offered.
