The brands I work with include Rolex, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer and Universal Genève. Each watch appears in the shop with detailed characteristics and photos.
When you find a watch you want, write to me with any question or ask for more photos. Once payment is confirmed, I prepare the shipment. The showroom is at 29 rue de la Cigogne, 45100 Orléans, France, by appointment, and holds no stock; a watch from the site can be shown on request.
What I check before a watch is listed
Every watch passes through my hands before it appears on the site. I open it, inspect it, and have it serviced. If it does not convince me, it is not sold. Each watch comes with a one-year warranty.
Shipping and duties to the United States
Shipping from Orléans to Atlanta costs €150 and takes about 3 to 6 business days from dispatch by DHL Express. The parcel is insured for the full value, discreetly packed, and handed over against signature.
Customs duties, import VAT or local taxes and the carrier's clearance fees are payable by you directly to DHL on delivery. They are not included in the price of the watch or in the shipping cost, and they depend on the country, the value and the origin of the watch. I always declare the watch at its real value and with its true origin.
What to look for in a vintage watch
Condition and originality matter more than age. Look at the case, the dial, the movement, and whether the parts appear coherent with the period.
Service history is useful, but its absence is not always a problem — if the watch has been properly prepared. Box and papers are helpful, but they should not replace a close look at the watch itself.
Buying a used Rolex in Atlanta
A used Rolex in Atlanta often means buying without holding it first. I try to make that less abstract: ask me about the reference, the year, the bracelet, the service work, and the way it runs. You can request more photos before ordering.
For a pre-owned Rolex in Atlanta, I pay close attention to dial originality, case proportions, bracelet stretch, and the movement. The value is usually in the details that have not been altered, not in polishing or replacement parts.
Selling rather than buying? I buy watches too, wherever you live: send me photos of yours for an appraisal.
